Pirelli stated that their relationship with Formula 1 teams to be fine now. The relationship was touted disharmony over issue of tire performance at British Grand Prix last week.
Pirelli as the sole tire provider race having failed to provide a qualified tire. This can be seen in incidents at British Grand Prix, where four drivers had broken tire.
In response, Pirelli later released a statement stating that the incident was entirely their fault. Investigations point to the fact that a number of teams put tires on the wrong side and the wind pressure is too low.
This release is touted to make Pirelli and the teams slightly less harmonious, although Pirelli has confirmed there will be improvement. The issue is disputed by Pirelli Motorsport Director Paul Hembery.
Pirelli expressed full support of teams, drivers, FIA and FOM. Pirelli also grateful because until now the full support of all parties concerned.
