Grand Prix Drivers' Association threatened to boycott German GP

F1 Grand Prix Driver's Association threatened to boycott German GP if tire incident occurred at British Grand Prix at Nuerburgring repeat again. If that happens, the rider will immediately stop the race.

The assertion was made following a meeting of the Association does Nuerburgring racer in the paddock on Thursday (07/04/2013) evening local time, in reaction to current situation in F1.

In the previous race at Silverstone, there are at least four riders who had broken tire incident, raises safety concerns will be aspects of the rider.

To prevent a repeat of such incidents, Pirelli tires are now brought a different type to Nuerburgring. The inside of the tire is made of fiber called Kevlar synthetic, instead of steel that is usually used. Pirelli tires are sure this will not happen a similar fate at Nuerburgring.
