The Legend is back!.. 9 times world champion, Valentino Rossi won MotoGP Assen series some time ago. Rossi recorded a best time of 41m 25.202s and touch the finish line first. This is first victory after 2,5 years.
Start the race from fourth, Rossi raced quite perfect devouring every lap at Assen. After passing Dani Pedrosa, Rossi can not pursue other racers to the finish.
Behind Rossi is Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez who also pass his team mate Dani Pedrosa on one corner. Marquez managed to survive the pressure of Cal Crutchlow for second place.
Pole holders, Cal Crutchlow had to settle for third podium after making a little mistake at the time would pass Marquez. Behind him, Dani Pedrosa who appear less convincing and had to settle for fourth position.
Jorge Lorenzo raced well enough though just perform the collarbone operation. The Yamaha rider is able to finish fifth and keep a distance of leaders Dani Pedrosa.
