Yamaha Tech 3 rider, Cal Crutchlow, won MotoGP pole position in Netherlands. He also became the first British rider who managed pole position in MotoGP.
Crutchlow managed to start on the first after recorded best time of one minute 34.398 seconds in the qualifying session which took place at Assen circuit.
In this series several top drivers fell. Start of Jorge Lorenzo who fell while free practice so he can not follow the race.
Then the Repsol Honda duo Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez who had fallen, although able to follow the qualifying sessions and races.
