Marc Marquez won 2 times in a row after winning the U.S. MotoGP at Laguna Seca circuit a few hours ago. This wins kept the Spaniard more firmly on top standings.
Started the race from second, Marquez had slipped to fourth. But it did not take long, Marquez is able to move into second place on lap three.
Exciting duel between Marquez and Rossi. Peak in corkscrew 'S' turn with very tight, Marquez pressing Rossi from the outside. Seeing this, The Doctor survive by not giving way for Marquez. As if not to be outdone, the Spaniard with little force got past Rossi through the outer track.
Marquez second, Rossi third. In front of them, the German rider Stefan Bradl.
Continues to overshadow Bradl in few laps, Marquez finally passed German rider 13 laps from the finish.
After leading, Marquez continues to maintain momentum and not overtaken until the finish. Bradl finished second with a difference of about 2 seconds behind Marquez. Valentino Rossi finished third after surviving from pressure of Alvaro Bautista.
With this victory, Marquez is now 16 points ahead of Pedrosa and 26 points ahead of Lorenzo in the standings.
