Marco Melandri won Monza Superbike race series a while ago. The BMW Motorrad rider recorded the fastest time 30'54 .945.
The victory was achieved with quite dramatic after the duel at final corner with the two riders Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty.
Last name actually was leading the race, but a little gap makes two riders behind him did overtake. Consequently Marco and Sykes go ahead and sprint toward the finish line.
Marco Melandri is able to win the sprint and edged Sykes, who finished second. Laverty had to settle for third position.
